New GTA 6 rumors say Rockstar Games will drop trailer 2 by March end

Now that people have a release date for Borderlands 4, new rumours and speculations regarding Rockstar Games dropping the second trailer for GTA 6 are rising. It has been over a year since players got any news about the game. Assuming there is no delay, the second trailer is expected to drop in late March.

While these are simply speculations, GTA 6 now holds the longest gap between any game by Rockstar. Take-Two also decided to unveil Borderlands 4 along with a release date with people assuming an announcement for GTA 6 is also coming, especially after Rockstar recently made an official discord server.

March looking like prime time for new GTA 6 trailer

As pointed out by GameRollGTA on X (Twitter), Borderlands 4 is set to land within 7 months on September 23. Assuming GTA 6 is also following the same pattern with a Fall 2025 release, the new trailer will be released within a month or two. GameRollGTA is optimistic about a release within a month.

Borderlands 4 recently got its second trailer and it launches in 7 months.

September 23 is also a day after Fall 2025 begins. Take-Two, the parent company for Rockstar Games and Borderlands developers Gearbox has stated that there is no delay in the GTA 6 release which is planned to be released this Fall. Assuming there will be a gap for a month or two after the Borderlands 4 launch, GTA 6 can also release something in late November or early December.

GTA 6 trailer 2 will reveal if there is any delay or not

Despite multiple reassurances from the CEO of Take-Two Interactive, people aren’t ready to believe there is no delay in GTA 6 release. This is largely due to past Rockstar releases and the scope of the upcoming game which the developers likely don’t want to go down as a bad launch.

The new trailer for GTA 6 will likely tell players if there is any delay or if Rockstar pulled a fast one over everyone. Even if there are no exact dates in Trailer 2, the release window remaining the same will mean there is no delay, and console players will be able to enjoy the game this year.
