A sad day for GTA 6 fans as after multiple reassurance, it seems that the game is reportedly facing internal delayed with new release being mid 2026. Popular informer billsyliamgta on X have now revealed that Rockstar Games are delaying GTA 6 and that fans will need to wait out the entire 2025 and half of 2026 to play the games on console.

The worst news, however, is for PC gamers who were expecting to play the game in 2026. Instead, bill revealed that PC port for GTA 6 will be coming after 12 to 18 months of console release. The news comes from his sources from two different studios.

While there is no official conformation regarding the delay, bill later on went to state that he would not post this information if he was not was 99.9% sure. Few insiders and popular names stood in his support, but most people were asking for source.

Fans react to GTA 6 delay

With multiple statements from Take Two telling everyone GTA 6 release was on track, people have not taken this leak lightly. Fans are in disbelief, with many calling out bill for spreading fake news, while others straight up refused to believe anything until an official statement from Rockstar Games is released.

One thing is for sure, that the entire community is sad. While fans were already making speculations that the game will be delayed in one way or the another, no one wanted it to become true. If the delay is actually happening, the wait just increased to almost two years.
