In a recent blog post, legendary author George R. R. Martin hyped up all Souls video game fans with a hint of a TV adaptation for Elden Ring. For those who do not know, the world of Elden Ring was created by Martin and game director Hidetaka Miyazaki.
“Oh, and about those rumours you may have heard about a feature film or television series based on ELDEN RING… I have nothing to say. Not a word, nope, not a thing, I know nothing, you never heard a peep from me, mum mum mum. What rumour?” he wrote in his official Blog.
The rumours regarding Elden Ring were already circulating after Miyazaki’s interview with The Guardian where he revealed that a TV adaptation of the game is certainly welcomed, however, the studio would appreciate external help in the matter as they are lacking technical knowledge in this matter.
Elden Ring recently saw its only expansion by Fromsoftware, Shadow of the Erdtree, and it was a massive success. Elden Ring was one of the most anticipated games back when it was released and it delivered well. The DLC also saw the same hype and was as successful as the base game.

Will Elden Ring be the most anticipated TV Adaptation?
Fans were then talking about potential collaboration once again to bring the game to real life and even expand on it with the help of the original creators Martin and Miyazaki to address the various mysteries inside the game.
Most people know Martin from Game of Thrones, however, back when the reveal for Elden Ring dropped, fans went crazy to see one of the best authors and video game development studios working together. With both sides hinting at something, It seems that their wishes might be coming true. Although, it is unclear if it will be a Movie, TV series or even anime. Regardless of that, if it does get announced, the show will likely be the most anticipated video game adaptation yet.
