Falcons AP.Bren sees a dominating run to the MLBB Mid-Season Cup Semifinals

Keeping their ultimate win streak alive, Falcons AP.Bren has now secured a spot in the Knockout Stage Semifinals for the MLBB Mid-Season Cup Semifinals 2024. Their match against See You Soon went as expected with a dominating 3-0 victory.

This was also the fastest match-up of the Knockout Stage yet, closing in just under 40 minutes. The opening match saw total domination, which would have been enough to tell how the next games were set to go. Keeping the momentum, AP.Bren took the second game similarly and was just a step away from the semifinals.

The third game saw an effort from See You Soon, however, AP.Bren was always two steps ahead at every turn. The team was constantly winning their duels and did not hold the title of one of the best MLBB teams without any reason.

AP.Bren will now be facing Liquid Echo, who was the dominating force of Group C in the group stages in what is being called one of the most anticipated battles to reach the grand finals.

HomeBois face a disappointing return

On the other bracket, HomeBois faced NIP Flash and after an intense battle, NIP Flash came out on top, halting the march for HomeBois. This defeat comes as huge heartbreak for the fans as the team made their way to the Knockout Stages through Wildcard and was set to face Selangor Red Giants once again in a fated battle. Instead, NIP Flash will be taking their place for a race to the grand final.

The opening three matches saw HomeBois with a 2-1 lead with only a single win required to move forward, however, NIP Flash managed to clutch the last two games and send their opponents back home and move forward at the Esports World Cup event. These types of comebacks are why best-of-five games are preferred by a majority of fans.
