Elden Ring Nightreign network testing registration to commence soon for Xbox and PS5

Following the announcement of the network test for Elden Ring Nightreign, FromSoftware is now opening up registrations starting February 10. Players who want to try out the upcoming game will be able to register and play the game starting February 14 and check out what the developers have cooked this time.

“The network test is a preliminary verification test in which the selected testers play a portion of the game before the full game launch. Various technical verifications of online systems will be examined by conducting large-scale network load tests,” the official website said.

The registration is only available for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 (PS5) users with no plans for a network test on PC, likely to prevent any information leak during the testing. Registration will open up in a few hours, and players can simply fill up the required details and play the game from February 14 to February 17.

If people are wondering if four days will be enough to satisfy their hunger for the new Elden Ring game, they are in for a disappointment. Apart from running for four days, the services will be available for select hours, with most days only featuring six hours of testing split across two sessions.

 It is very possible that many will not get to play much due to the strict schedule. Game director Junya Ishizaki previously revealed that the game sessions are expected to be 40 minutes long, meaning one session can let players have a go three times, presuming they’re able to complete each run.

For a quick refresher on what to do, players will be dropping in a specific area after selecting the class they want and will have three in-game days to survive and defeat the final boss. The game can be played either with three players or solo; there is no option to go duo. Defeating the final boss will give players permanent character buffs.
