Call of Duty Black Ops 6 has been the talk of the town in recent months after its first cryptic reveal. The game comes as the first major release by Activision Blizzard after getting acquired by Microsoft, and fans are seemingly eager to see what Treyarch has been cooking.

Now, Activision Blizzard has officially revealed the anticipated Multiplayer Beta release dates. These beta tests are done to get feedback from players to further polish the game before release while also letting players experience a part of the game, especially after the company announced a whole new movement system for CoD Black Ops 6.

There will be two Beta, one for Early Access and another for Open Beta. The early access beta will begin on August 30 to September 4 and will be available to players who have pre-ordered Black Ops 6. The second beta will be open for all players and will run from September 6 to September 9.

Why is the new Call of Duty Black Ops a big deal?

Black Ops series in general has been beloved by many in the CoD community and these titles also focus on single-player story and zombies, two of the best parts of this series, apart from the Black Ops 4 which hasn’t been as strongly implemented in the Modern Warfare series.

The game is bringing back round-based zombie mode, while the story is set around the Gulf War and tells what happened between Black Ops 1 and 2. However, players will need to wait a bit longer to experience these, as the open beta is all about the ‘Omnimovement’.

For those who are still confused with the concept, Omnimovement is the new addition that allows seamless and more realistic movement. Players can dive and shoot while also turning around doing the same. Omnimovement also makes sprinting possible in all directions. Activision says it will be a game changer, however, all will be revealed during the open beta.
