Call of Duty to bring a WWE crossover (Image - CoD)
A recent teaser released by Call of Duty (CoD) revealing a WWE crossover coming to both Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone have now got fans excited. With CoD doing some Fortnite level collaboration nowadays, it was only a matter of time they shook hands with WWE.
The short teaser shows a wrestling ring with the crowd cheering along with a silhouette of three characters along with the release date of Season 5. Players are likely to get new operators bundle, however, more details are yet to be revealed.

These bundles could be similar to ‘The Boys’ bundle bringing characters from the WWE franchise. However, they could also be something like the Fallout Crossover, with our good old protagonists Captain Price, Soap MacTavish and Ghost in a new outfit. “It's about to be a smackdown,” the teaser said.
Fans play the guessing game
Despite having no idea, fans have nor refrained from speculations. Multiple fans are rooting for WWE stars like Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, John Cena and others. The Ring in the teaser also remains a mystery and while it said ‘not actual gameplay’, it would be fun to see players sent to a fistfight in Gulag after elimination in Warzone. It could also be something like the Olympus Boxing Ring in Apex Legends, where players are forced to fistfight.

Since the release still have some time left, it is possible that fans might get some leaks regarding the same, which they usually do and if not, July 24 is also not that far away. Furthermore, it will also be interesting to see what Activision decides after Season 5 with Black Ops 6 releasing this October.
Call of Duty also recently made a last moment entry into the Esports World Cup and concluded the Warzone championship with Team Falcons taking home the trophy in a dominating fashion. Another tournament for MW3 is all set to run from August 15 to 18.
