Witcher 4 Ciri (Image - CDPR)
The Witcher 4 is the next big undertaking by CD Projekt Red (CDPR) and they are reportedly working to mess things up like Cyberpunk 2077 launch. Instead, the team is taking a new approach to create a better working environment for everyone across all stages of production as per game director Sebastian Kalemba.
For those who do not remember, Cyberpunk 2077 wasn’t always like the current version. The current game is a massive effort from the development team to bring back one of the most disastrous launch. This was after the game created massive hype thanks to older games by CDPR.
This comes for a recent interview where CDPR sat down with IGN to talk about Witcher 4 and its scope. The team talked about Ciri, who is the new protagonist and the playable character in the upcoming game. In-fact, she will be heading the next trilogy of the series and if they are as good as the first one, gamers will have a great time.

Better working environment during the development of Witcher 4
Cyberpunk 2077’s development and the multiple months it took to fix the game, both resulted in crunches with developers reportedly working overtime on a regular basis. This time, however, CDPR’s approach but the game will still be much bigger and better in scope.
“We are very mindfully defining the stages of the production. We are very mindfully trying to scope it, making sure that the foundation is there. I already see that it’s helping us to make sure that whatever we create right now is super coherent across the board,” Kalemba said.
Witcher 4 will be a direct sequel following the events of Witcher 3, Ciri has taken the Trial of the Grasses and is now a complete Witcher like Geralt. Details regarding the release date is something fans will have to wait for a while considering the game recently went under full production. However, the thought of exploring a world of the upcoming wither game already have fans excited.
