MS Dhoni is one of the most admired cricketers in the world. Having led India to three ICC titles and CSK to five IPL triumphs, the 43-year-old surely occupies a prominent place in the list of greatest captains of all time. Apart from his captaincy brilliance, Dhoni is also a menacing finisher and the best in the business with gloves.

However, apart from his heroics or achievements on the field, what people admire him for is his calm and composed demeanour, which earned him the nickname 'Captain Cool'. Even at the height of stressful moments, his face shows no sign of tension and fights till the final ball.

Many cricketers have been open about their admiration for the former Indian captain, the latest on the list being New Zealand Test captain Tim Southee. During the CEAT Cricket Rating Awards on Wednesday, the Kiwi pacer was asked if he would get a chance to swap lives with any other cricketer, who would it be and why.

Southee did not take much time to come up with his answer. "MS Dhoni - just wanted to see how life will be as MS Dhoni,” the right-arm pacer said.

Southee heaps massive praise on Jasprit Bumrah

During the event, Tim Southee also praised India’s premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah for his remarkable performance after an injury setback. Bumrah is one of the main forces in the Indian team across formats. He was the Player of the Series in India's historic T20 World Cup win in June.

"To be able to firstly bounce back from the major injury and come back, he's even better than what he was beforehand...He seems to have been able to do that with ease as well...He's probably more experienced, understands his game a bit more," Southee said.
