With Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar returning to lead the India Masters, Indian cricket fans are in for a treat. The team, which includes some of the most renowned players from the 2000s and 2010s, is a powerful blend of style, strength, and match-winning ability. With Yuvraj Singh, the star of the T20 World Cup in 2007 and the fifty-over World Cup in 2011, as well as Suresh Raina and Ambati Rayudu, who enthralled spectators with their daring stroke play, batting prowess is back.

According to an IML news release, Naman Ojha will lead from behind the stumps, while the Pathan brothers, Irfan Pathan and Yusuf, will showcase their explosive all-around abilities. Experienced match-winners make up the bowling attack, with Dhawal Kulkarni and Vinay Kumar spearheading the speed attack. This well-rounded team, which includes players like Stuart Binny, Shahbaz Nadeem, Rahul Sharma, Pawan Negi, Gurkeerat Singh Mann, and Abhimanyu Mithun, is prepared to rekindle old rivalries and deliver thrilling cricket.

Irfan Pathan said of his first-ever experience playing in the International Masters League, "The International Masters League is a tournament that pays tribute to cricket's golden age. I am thrilled to represent India Masters in Season 1 of the league and play alongside Sachin Tendulkar, the maestro, and other colleagues, with whom I shared many happy and precious moments in the past. We are hosting the IML, but I can assure cricket fans that we will not be generous on the field. We will produce tough cricket and do our best to win the title."

Sri Lanka Masters will be captained by Kumar Sangakkara

Kumar Sangakkara will be leading the Sri Lanka Masters for this season. Kumar Sangakkara led Sri Lanka to the finals of the 2007 and 2011 World Cup but lost twice. However, he finally got his hands on the ICC trophy in 2014, where he defeated India to lift the T20 World title. Romesh Kaluwitharana will be his opening partner in batting. Upul Tharanga, Chinthaka Jayasinghe, and Lahiru Thirimanne are the batters who will help the team get runs.

With Masters returning to the field from India, Sri Lanka, England, Australia, the West Indies, and South Africa, the IML is a celebration of cricket's greatest legends. In the upcoming days, the league will reveal the rosters of the remaining teams.
