Nostalgia is a feeling that everyone wants to dive in and so is the case with the ardent cricket fans who watched the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar in his playing days in international cricket. He was a childhood hero to the adults of this generation who witnessed the debuts of modern-day cricketing greats like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

However, in a pleasant sight for the ones who in their childhood, watched Sachin Tendulkar dominating international cricket, the former legendary batter was seen batting in the nets. The all-time batting great was seen practising in the nets ahead of the upcoming International Masters League 2025.

The video of Sachin Tendulkar practising in the nets was shared by the five-time IPL champion franchise, Mumbai Indians, the team for which the master used to play in the Indian Premier League. 
“Look who we saw in the nets from our windows,” wrote MI in a video they shared on their official X handle (formerly Twitter).

This video immediately went viral over social as soon as Mumbai Indians shared it; the fans also came up with heartfelt comments in the comments section of the video. The love from the fans also transliterates into the fact the charming legacy of the all-time legend hasn’t faded yet, even more than a decade after he retired from international cricket.

Furthermore, Tendulkar also spoke about the importance of the upcoming tournament, International Masters League 2025 (IML 2025). Notably, the renowned former cricketers or the all-time cricketing greats, including the likes of Makhaya Ntini and Brian Lara will be participating in this highly anticipated tournament starting from February 22 and the final will be played next month on March 16.

“The IML will be a celebration of cricket’s unique and enduring legacy. I can’t wait to step back onto the field with my contemporaries in a league that will be intense and competitive, with all the teams playing hard, but fair,” said Sachin while speaking about the tournament.
