India claim 2 wickets against New Zealand
India is grouped alongside the teams like Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka women. In the first match of the tournament, India is up against New Zealand. It turned out to be a poor start for the Indian team with the ball and on the field. The fielders looked rusty in the middle.
The Kiwi openers were off to a good start. While the bowlers bowled decently enough, the fielders did not help them enough. A couple of catches were dropped and an easy boundary was given. The throws were not up to the mark and it seemed like the Kiwis were up for a good start.
