He is now in the third spot among the aspirants for the purple cap in the tournament’s current edition.

With that said here, we’ll have a look at the leading wicket-takers in the ongoing 18th edition of the Indian Premier League, it also includes CSK’s Khaleel Ahmed and the veteran DC pacer Mitchell Starc.

Star CSK spinner Noor Ahmed has scalped 11 wickets in five innings, with a brilliant strike rate of 9.81, including a four-wicket haul (4 wickets at just 18 runs in a game). Noor Ahmed is followed by star all-rounder and skipper Hardik Pandya, who has scalped 10 wickets in four innings, including a five-wicket haul (5 wickets at 36 runs in a game).

Following Hardik, the star GT pacer Mohammed Siraj has scalped 10 wickets in five innings, with a decent strike rate of 11.40 and a four-wicket haul (4 wickets at just 17 runs in a game). He is firmly racing towards the top spot in this list of the leading wicket-takers in the tournament’s current season.

Star CSK pacer Khaleel Ahmed is in the fourth spot in this table, with 10 wickets in five innings, with a good enough bowling strike rate of 12.00. It also includes his best performance of ‘3 wickets at just 29 runs in a game’ for CSK.

The veteran DC pacer Mitchell Starc is ranked fifth in this list of leading wicket-takers, with 9 wickets in three innings, including a sensational five-wicket haul against SRH (5 wickets at 35 runs in a game).
