MI skipper and star all-rounder Hardik Pandya displayed a sensational bowling performance against the Lucknow Super Giants in the 16th game of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025). Pandya claimed an outstanding five-wicket haul against LSG, scalping 5 wickets at 36 runs in his 4 overs in the first innings of the game.

With this amazing fifer against LSG, Pandya has entered the elite list, becoming the eighth bowler for Mumbai Indians to claim a five-wicket haul in Indian Premier League history. Besides that, Pandya has also become the first MI skipper to claim a five-wicket haul in IPL history.

Speaking of the current action of the game, MI skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and asked LSG to bat first; batting first, the hosts posted a big total of 203 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram played the crucial half-century knocks for LSG, scoring 60 and 53 runs off just 31 and 38 balls, respectively.

While chasing the target in the second innings, the visitors have scored 125 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 13 overs at the time of filling this. Star batters Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma are there in the middle at individual scores of 46 and 12 runs, respectively. Earlier in the innings, Naman Dhir also scored a blistering 46 runs off just 24 balls, with 4 fours and three sixes.
