India's victory parade towards Wankhede Stadium has started. After a long delay of nearly 4 hours, the Indian team started its journey on the bus arranged for the celebration. The path started from the Nariman point on the Marine Drive. Around the bus in all directions is the sea of fans who are too happy to welcome their heroes who achieved a sensational feat.

It has been a long wait for the fans to welcome their hero. The Indian team was stuck in Barbados due to thunderstorms. As they returned to India, the team met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A packed house is ensured at Wankhede stadium where the players will be giving a lap of honour for the fans. The players were overjoyed to see the reception they got.

The team bus was filled with the Indian players in the squad. Along with them were the trio of Rahul Dravid, Jay Shah, and Rajiv Shukla. The Indian coach, the Secretary of BCCI, and the Vice President of the BCCI were happy to see the reception and waved at the crowd and sensed it as their own win. The players waved their hands towards the fans.

Unreal craze for India's win

India is a country which is known for its cricket fans. The craze for the sport has been proved once again as the fans have come out in huge numbers to cheer the team. Not a single blank spot is visible on the road or in the surrounding area. It shows how many were waiting for the Indian team to end their trophy drought. It was not any different when India won the ICC trophies in 2007 and 2011.

Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Hardik Pandya were among the ones to be interviewed in the parade. They expressed how much it meant for them to win the title which eluded them for a long time. The party is likely to continue for the rest of the night in Wankhede Stadium. It might be the biggest celebration of a trophy in the history of cricket.
