Captaincy will be decided by the selectors: Jay Shah
Now that Rohit Sharma has retired from T20Is, selectors are in search of a captain who can handle the team in the shortest format of the game. Speaking about this, the BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said the management will have a conversation with the selectors and then decide on the same. He also praised Hardik Pandya for his performance throughout the tournament.
"You asked about Hardik, there were lot of questions over his form, but we and selectors showed faith in him, and he proved himself. Captaincy will be decided by the selectors and we will announce it after discussing with them," said Jay Shah.
