The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 victory against South Africa in Barbados is still the happiest moment for Indian cricket fans. From the moment India won the match to when the team lifted the trophy at the post-match presentation, the memory is stored in the fans' minds. In between this, there was one beautiful and heartwarming memory to see when Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma hugged each other while going towards the dressing room. 

The video on social media is a clip of the scenes from Barbados when the two legends hugged each other while head coach Rahul Dravid applauded them from behind and left. While there are several videos of them hugging have gone viral, this particular video shows the real emotions of the players and what the trophy meant to them.

India won the T20 World Cup after 17 years and lifted an ICC trophy after 11 years of wait, which is a huge deal. The emotions each and every Indian is feeling now are unmeasurable. Now that Kohli and Sharma have retired from T20Is, they'll look forward to winning the upcoming WTC Finals in 2025.

Jay Shah helps Indian journalists stranded in Barbados amidst Hurricane Beryl

While the Indian journalists were stranded in Barbados, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah arranged for a special flight for them and the players to return to Delhi. Now, the media people along with the cricketers will reach Delhi on July 4, at 6 AM. IndiaToday journalist tweeted and expressed his gratitude to Jay Shah for the arrangement. 

"Special thanks to @JayShah for taking the initiative and ‘rescuing’ stranded Indian media in Barbados. As a gesture, the 20-odd media contingent have been offered to fly out with the Indian team on the special chartered flight from Barbados to Delhi! The special flight will take off In a few hours and land in Delhi around 4-5 Thursday morning,” wrote Gupta on his X account," tweeted Vikrant Gupta.
