The wicketkeeper batter showed up in an interview with Sports Tak where he opened up on the support he has gotten from the 37-year-old in his difficult period. The emerging star claimed to have spoken with Kohli whenever he wanted to. He claimed that Virat's suggestions helped him to be back in form when things weren't going his way.

"Virat Kohli has supported me in my tough times. Whenever I’ve had a problem, I talked to him and he helped me. When my performance was bad recently, I spoke to Virat bhai and he gave me his inputs, in the next match it helped me score 90+," Gurbaz said in his interview with Sports Tak.
