Did MS Dhoni break TV set after loss to RCB during key IPL 2024 game?

Chennai Super Kings support staff member has rubbished claims of MS Dhoni breaking the TV set after the game against RCB in IPL 2024. Former Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh had claimed that MS Dhoni had broken the TV set at the end of the game. The incident occurred when Bengaluru players were late in shaking a CSK player's hand. 

Taking to social media, CSK’s physio wrote, “This is absolute Rubbish! MSD did not break anything and I have never seen him aggressive after any match. Fake news!". The Chennai inside has put to rest all the rumors of MS Dhoni being unhappy. 

Harbhajan Singh during his appearance on Sports Yaari had said that MSD was visibly angry at the end of the game. Singh, who was part of the commentary panel saw the former India and CSK skipper lose his temper. 

What did Harbhajan Singh say?

The former Indian star had said, “RCB was celebrating and they deserved to celebrate because of the way they won. I was watching the whole scene from above because I was present there. RCB was celebrating and CSK had lined up to shake hands, RCB was a little late to reach CSK. By the time Team RCB finished their celebration, (Dhoni) went inside and punched a screen outside the dressing room. I was watching from above but it is okay that every player has his own emotions, it happens."

The former Indian star was in full praise of Virat Kohli during his chat on the same program. The 417-wicket star said, “Kohli ke captaincy main chahe aap World Cup na jeete but it doesn’t make him a lesser captain or lesser player.”

The legendary star went on to say, “Jo usnea ag lagayi team main, it can be a target of 400 runs in the 4th innings of a Test match, we’ll go for a cause we won't panic. If we go down, we do it while chasing. It takes a lot of guts and brain, which Kohli has instilled in the team. So every person has left his legacy. That determination Shubman and Rishabh showed during the Gabba Test was because of the way the team’s thinking changed.”
