Indian national women's team cricketer Asha Sobhana is an ardent fan of Premier League side Arsenal the Gunners. She has revealed on multiple occasions her love for the sport of football and how she loves to follow her favorite team, Arsenal. India's and Royal Challengers Bengaluru's sensational spinner has always voiced her love for the sport of football.
Earlier this year, during a Women's Premier League fixture between her club, Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Uttar Pradesh Warriors, she did the iconic 'glasses' celebration while she picked up the opposition's wickets and left their batters in utter dismay. Asha secured a 5-wicket Haul in the match, and a staple in her celebrations for the majority of those five wickets was a gesture — hands cupped around her eyes to form goggles — that caught the eye of many.
Asha's Used Trossard's iconic Celebration
She addressed herself as a fellow Gunner and explained the reason for such a Celebration. She is a huge fan of Arsenal midfielder Leandro Trossard, and hence, she used his iconic celebration after completing a major achievement.
“I watch a lot of football. I am a fan of the Arsenal team. Being a fellow ‘Gooner’, I brought out the [Leandro] Trossard celebration. He is one of the Arsenal players,” she said.
Trosaard is Asha's 'Mr Clutch'
As she is about to take on Indian Colours in the Women's T20 World Cup, starting October 3rd, she again makes her admiration for the Englishman Leandro Trosaard known to the world, calling him the 'Finisher' aka 'Mr Clutch Player' of the Gunners.
"Trosaard will be coming as finisher. He is my MS Dhoni, coming in and finishing the game. He has scored crucial goals and won us matches many times." Asha stated.

Arsenal's recent Exploits in Europe
Since Arsenal's violent clash against the Premier League Champions Manchester City at Etihad, which ended in a 2-2 draw, Mikel Arteta's men have been in a winning momentum, winning all their Carabao Cup, Premier League, and Champions League matches.
In the third-round fixture of the EFL cup, Arsenal bottled Bolton 5-1 with goals from Declan Rice, H Havertz, Raihan Sterling and Nwaneri. In their Premier League fixture against Leicester City, they humbled the Premier League Rivals 4-2.
The Gunners didn't stop here and they continued their exploits in UEFA Champions League as they humbled Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint Germain 2-0 at Emirates.
