Stephen Curry, the star of the Golden State Warriors, acknowledges that Donald Trump, a 78-year-old Republican, won the 2024 US presidential election handily and isn't upset about it. He wants to continue leading the country for another four years. The billionaire once again upset the decks to defeat Tim Waltz and Kamala Harris of the Democrats, shocking pollsters, bookmakers, and voters nationwide with the outcome on Wednesday morning.
Donald Trump will so take office again on January 7 and remain there until 2029, but this time he will have the support of the Republican-controlled Senate, Supreme Court, and Representatives, which will essentially give him a blank check as president. Because of this, there has been a lot of outrage over the news, but Curry acknowledged that he isn't angry about the result and that he thinks democracy won on November 5.
"I supported her and the DNC. It's a fair election," Stephen Curry told Esteban Bustillos. "It's a situation where Trump won. Congratulate them on a hard-fought campaign. "Everyone should support one another and come with the best intentions to steer the nation in the right path. That's the basic idea of how this country is meant to function. My hope is that. I have no grudges or animosities. You wish for everyone to have a wonderful four years. Additionally, we expect responsibility in that regard.”
Stephen Curry became the first player to surpass NBA great Charles Barkley
Along with Taylor Swift, Harrison Ford, Robert de Niro, Cardi B, and Eminem, Curry was only one of several celebrities who endorsed Harris; but, their combined star power was unable to reverse the momentum from Trump's side. Voters ultimately trusted Trump and the Republicans to address issues like the economy, immigration and border control, and housing more successfully than the Democrats because they believed that these issues were important to their lives.
Golden State Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics 118–112 on Wednesday night, and Stephen Curry became the first player to surpass NBA great Charles Barkley on the all-time scoring list.
