WATCH: WWE's SummerSlam 2025 reveal teases collaboration between Cardi B and Bianca Belair

The greatest news of the day may not be the announcement that WWE SummerSlam will now take place over two nights for the foreseeable future, beginning with the SummerSlam in New Jersey in 2025. Alongside WWE's formal announcement, a brand-new commercial starring Bianca Belair, also known as The EST, was released. The film opens with Belair receiving a call from none other than Cardi B.

WWE had great expectations for Cardi B to be a part of their SummerSlam event that year back in the spring of 2021. WWE even planned for her to make an in-person appearance, hoping to incorporate one of her popular songs into the show. Sadly, Cardi B's pregnancy announcement caused those plans to be shelved, causing WWE to reconsider its major celebrity partnerships for that year. Cardi B tells Belair all about the exciting news regarding SummerSlam next year, and it begs the question of whether this is a prelude to her much-anticipated WWE debut. he video includes Cardi's tune throughout in addition to segments with Bianca Belair and Cardi. Maybe this also signifies that Cardi B will have the SummerSlam theme song in the end. Cardi shared the video with the following caption: "Here's to the Streets.. and to my lady @BiancaBelairWWE! While we wait for any confirmation of it to happen! SummerSlam, two nights on August 2 and 3 at MetLife Stadium.

WWE SummerSlam will held at New York

Fans have been talking about a WWE and Cardi B collaboration for a while and several social media interactions between Cardi B and Lacey Evans gave the impression that it would possibly happen. That never happened, but because Cardi B was a part of the video announcement and it's one of WWE's biggest events of the year, maybe this is the year it does. 

SummerSlam will become a two-night event, emulating WrestleMania, starting with the 2025 edition in MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Following the 2024 SummerSlam, which brought in the most gates of any event outside of WrestleMania in WWE history, the event is scheduled for Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3.
