The wife of Phoenix Suns player Damion Lee and sister of NBA star Steph Curry, Sydel Curry Lee, has turned to social media to urge Americans to support Kamala Harris in the rapidly approaching presidential election. In a video posted on Instagram, Sydel emphasized her support for individual healthcare choices, which she believes are a key component of Harris' agenda."This Presidential election is so important," she said.

"For AUTONOMY. For families, like my own, who need options to grow their own families. To live out their dreams. We need to protect our right to decide our own medical care and vote for Kamala Harris. It is serious and the time is now! Vote!"

Following President Joe Biden's resignation from reelection plans, Harris entered the race as the Democratic nominee. Her supporters saw her emphasis on affordable healthcare and personal autonomy as a departure from her opponent, former President Donald Trump. Both candidates are putting in endless effort to influence voters in a hotly contested race as the election approaches. Trump is running for reelection, while Harris concentrates on her healthcare proposal. Trump served as the 45th president of the United States from 2017 to 2021.

Not only is Curry Lee supporting Harris in the forthcoming presidential election, but her elder brother, NBA player Steph Curry, has also shown support for the vice president. Steph thinks Harris possesses the leadership abilities required to unite the country and steer it in the direction of advancement. Curry officially supported Harris at the Democratic National Convention in August, just after Team USA won a gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
