Stephen Curry was a supporting player for Team USA at first, but he came through for them when it counted. His incredible effort against France in the gold medal game, in which he made four straight three-pointers, will live on forever as in Olympic legend. The Warriors threw open the red carpet for their legendary player when he arrived at Chase Center for the preseason.
Stephen Curry is a born winner
Golden State Warriors great Steve Kerr and fellow dynasty member Draymond Green presented Curry with the gold medal at an incredible pregame ceremony. The moment ended with a sincere hug from the appreciative audience. Still, Curry's unwavering competitive spirit propels him forward. His many records and four NBA championships speak for themselves. But he is a born winner who is motivated to succeed in any competitive setting. Now that he has overcome the Olympic test, his focus is fully on guiding the Warriors in what may be their only championship run.
