Jim Banks has made a huge claim on the conduct of the WNBA. The Indiana Congressman did not like that Caitlin Clark received an 'excessive attack' from the senior players of Chicago Sky. During the WNBA match, Chennedy Carter took a cheap shot at the young player and pushed her aside with a dab, which has received widespread criticism from the fans.

Experts, professionals, and others have questioned the motive of the Sky players. The Indiana congressman has joined the list of people to question the WNBA. Jim wrote a letter to the league asking for measures to an 'excessive physical targeting of specific players' highlighting the attack on Caitlin from Carter. Additionally, he made a huge claim about the seniors of the WNBA.

Angel Reese, one of the teammates of Sky, cheered her teammate after she attacked Caitlin. Jim regarded that as bullying from senior players. In his letter to the WNBA league, Banks claimed Indiana to be a Basketball state and added that they do not wince at aggressive defence. However, Banks claimed that the way Carter and Reese behaved with the youngster was not good.

'This was not an example of playing tough' - Jim Banks

Jim claimed that it was not an example of playing tough. The Congressman felt it was a cheap shot that could have potentially caused an injury. Indiana is a Basketball state. We don't wince at aggressive defence, but this was not an example of playing ‘tough'; it was a cheap shot that could have resulted in an injury and should not be tolerated," wrote Banks in his letter to the WNBA.

The call from Banks has gone viral on the internet. The fans have mixed opinions about his letter. While most agreed upon the fact that the senior duos of Sky were wrong in their behavior, others felt that Banks had no business in interfering in a matter that had nothing to do with him. The fans asked Banks to stay out of sports and concentrate on issues that need him.
