Moto 3 World champion David Alonso was thrown out of his bike during the free practice session in the Australian Moto 3 race. The MotoGP race is happening in Australia's Philip Island where the session was often interrupted by rain and animals which is typical Australian condition for any sport.
The first Moto3 session is underway where the lowest-powered bikes of the grid engage in the challenge. But even today it was a completely wet day for the riders like yesterday. Though it was not raining the track was full of water due to the morning rains.

The recently crowned Moto 3 world champion David Alonso was running hard for the top spot in the Moto3 practice sessions. The mini bike riders were all very impressive with their lap times despite the track being completely wet.
World champion David Alonso who already won the championship this year was looking to finish the season by giving his best and ending on a high note. He is the first Colombian rider to win a championship in Motorsport in the Premier-class category. But during a corner cutting Alonso was thrown out of the track as he was coming out of the corner. He had a slight high side to his bike which threw him out of the track.

Fortunately, there were no serious concerns and he rejoined the track and again set his lap time. The same kind of thing happened to Scott Ogden who was putting on a strong lap for the session slid too hard in the corner having a low side and crashed out of the session.
The Moto 3 practice session was complete with Angel Piqueras of Honda leading the session ahead of world champion David Alonso and Colin Veijer. Now Moto 2 Practice session is underway which will be followed by the main MotoGP Practice, Qualifying and sprint race which will end the session for today.
