MotoGP Australian GP is underway and riders are testing their bikes to their maximum limits after rain hurt the first free practice session. The session was washed away by the rain which soaked the entire circuit before the session was called off for safety reasons.

The next practice session took off with every driver gathering to run into the track which is the first time they are doing this weekend. Currently, Marc Marquez, Zarco, Marco Bezzecchi, Vinales, and Brad Binder are in the top 5 spots with 10 minutes to go before the end of the session.

Martinator crashed

After the session started Jorge Martin was trailing behind Yamaha’s Quartararo and he was ready to start his lap. Due to Under Braking, Jorge Martin slipped into the corners and lost control of the car falling with a low side crash.

Fabio Quartararo was just inches ahead of Jorge Martin he could have led to a big crash and damaged both bikes. The Frenchman was already suffering from heavy vibration issues in his machine. A crash could have ended his session with a big disappointment.

The same kind of issue happened to the home rider Jack Miller who also was caught in the corner and lost grip. The KTM rider stopped on time but the wet grass didn't give any grip and the Australian fell off beside the track. He continued the session with the help of stewards and again he joined the track with the rest of the riders.

The practice session was also interrupted by Goose which went on the track for a morning walk after rain and the session was given a red flag as the stewards waited for the goose to walk away from the grass. The practice session was a very important one because a top-10 finish will help riders guarantee a spot in Q2.
