The Australian MotoGP is underway in the Philip Islands and we are waiting for the rain to stop as it already spoiled us with a cancelled session of Free Practice 1. But though the weather is keeping us boring and annoying the fans and the riders are keeping us entertained with their activities off the track.

The Aussies are always very funny and do things differently in their own way. One of the ways of celebrating is the Shoey ritual which was brought to Motorsport by Formula 1 driver Daniel Ricciardo. Shoey ritual is the Australian way of celebrating a podium win by pouring champagne inside their shoes and drinking.

Many drivers when ending up with Daniel Ricciardo on the podiums shared some shoey's with the Australian. But now it seems to have gone to MotoGP at the Australian Grand Prix. The Australian Grand Prix of MotoGP was stopped by heavy rain and every rider was waiting in their garage for the rain to stop so that they could put some test on the track.

Daniel Ricciardo's Shoey in MotoGP

While waiting in the garage KTM factory racing team Jack Miller had a surprise fan who impressed the Australian rider very much with his funny actions. The kid was already soaked in rain and was doing a shoey by pouring water in his shoes and drinking in front of the camera.

Miller saw the camera and was laughing with thumbs up to the kid for his very Aussie celebration. The kid recognizes his hero is watching and he removes his rain jacket and shows his t-shirt of Jack Miller with tongues out. Miller is too impressed with him and again he gives a thumbs up to the kid. The only way Jack Miller can repay the kid's love is by winning the Australian Grand Prix doing a Shoey celebration on the podium and giving the kid an amazing weekend to remember for the rest of his life.
