Ferrari is preparing for a historic battle at the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in the Yas Marina circuit. They are in neck to neck fight with the McLaren team for the constructor's championship title. One final race in the desert city will decide the champion.
The Maranello-based squad won their last constructors championship in 2008. After that, they are still trying hard for the ultimate championship in Formula 1. The McLaren team last won their constructors title back in the 1998 season. So, the constructor's title is really important for both teams.
Abu Dhabi GP qualifying happened, and the McLarens set the fastest laps finishing 1 and 2 with Lando Norris securing the pole position followed by his teammate Oscar Piastri. For the Ferraris, the biggest performer was Carlos Sainz who finished in P3.
The Spanish driver was driving his last race for Ferrari and finished P3. Charles Leclerc was shocked after getting knocked out of Q2. The Monegasque driver finished P14. During his qualifying session, Leclerc went off the track in turn one. It is a critical corner, as many drivers had issues in the same area. Charles set the fastest lap but was immediately disqualified for crossing the white line.

The Italian player arrived at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to support his home team, Ferrari. On his arrival, he went straight to the Maranello team garage and took pictures with the Team. He then met Charles Leclerc before the qualifying session. We expect the world's number-one tennis player to stay in the city and watch the main race. It will be a historic occasion for Ferrari and McLaren.
