Abu Dhabi Qualifying held at the Yas Marina circuit for one final time this season. The Constructors title leader McLaren showed lightning speed to their rivals Ferrari by finishing P1 and P2. The Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc tried their best to set the fastest laps but finished P3 and P14.
The Spanish driver fought till the end in his final race for Ferrari but could only manage to get P3 for the Italian team. The biggest surprise was Nico Hulkenberg was faster and was also seen as the potential pole sitter in Abu Dhabi but the McLarens shattered his dreams. The German driver settled for P4 which is the best result for the team in many years. The Red Bull driver and world champion Max Verstappen was fifth fastest behind Hulkenberg and Pierre Gasly finished sixth ahead of George Russell in P7.
Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso came eighth fastest ahead of Valtteri Bottas who put on a super show for the Sauber team finishing in Q3 with P9 before his exit. Sergio Perez tried hard but finished only P10 at the end of the session. RB driver was Impressive and came P11 ahead of his teammate Liam Lawson in P12. Lance Stroll came in P13 ahead of Charles Leclerc in P14 and Kevin Magnussen in P15. Williams driver Alex Albon came 16th and Sauber's Zhou Guanyu finished in P17.

The biggest heartbreak came to Lewis Hamilton as he was driving his final qualifying session for Mercedes. He was knocked out of the First qualifying session which shattered many hearts. Williams Franco colapinto finished P19 and Debutant Jack Doohan though driving 1000km in the Yas Marina circuit as a test driver only finished last.

Tomorrow's race will be historic and we will see a new constructors champion after many years. The McLaren team is now in an advantageous position to win the championship. Ferrari need a miracle to win as both their drivers have a mountain to climb. Lewis Hamilton will also race for the final time in Mercedes so the race will be exciting to watch.
