Alonso attended the event held in Chennai and spoke with Cognizant employees at its Chennai headquarters. He engaged with the audience and many appreciated his passion and dedication to attend the event despite racing last night.

He was asked about his Indian memories. Alonso said his favourite moment in India is the 2012 India GP when he beat Michael Schumachers all time points record. He even has a special helmet for that. He was asked about his ambition and he replied “To win the Dakar Rally.”

Alonso was very good at yesterday's race in Singapore as he finished P8 by squeezing every ounce of power from the car. The veteran Formula 1 racer was the best driver for Aston Martin as he outpaced his teammate Lance Stroll completely throughout the season.

He will now be teaming up with Adrian Newey the greatest designer in Formula One history. Newey exited Red Bull and will join the Aston Martin team next March. He and Alonso will join together for the first time to win the Formula 1 World Championship.

Alonso will take a few weeks break from racing and he will be heading to the United States for the Austin GP. Fernando Alonso is a well-known Formula 1 legend around the world and his visit to India is a great thing for us and for the sport to grow in our country.
