Two of the popular Formula 1 teams might never be a part of the circuit after the 2026 season. The teams in question are Haas and Alpine. As the F1 teams believe the Sport might be at its peak in the upcoming years, they do not want to share the profits with any other teams, leading to a reduction in a lot of times.

Andretti's offer to join the grid has been rejected numerous times now. It only indicated that the existing teams do not want any new members. While Ferrari was threatened to be endangered by the circuit, they are unlikely to face the consequence, as they are a part of Formula 1's rich history already.

Haas announced a partnership with Toyota earlier this year. The Japanese company could well manage Haas to become an F1 team. The reports claimed that Alpine might also be sold by Renault after the end of the 2026 season. Renault CEO Luca de Meo said Alpine was not up for sale anytime soon.

Alpine's record in the Formula 1 circuit

However, it probably meant that their end was happening later than sooner. As Renault has mentioned, the F1 power units, the report claimed that Alpine might be sold too. Both Haas and Alpine could be sold at a good price given their record in the circuit.

In the F1 circuit, Alpine have managed four podium finishes and a major win at the Hungarian Grand Prix in 2021. They have a total of 461 points in the circuit. Their debut season was brilliant as Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso carried them well. Both of them finished 4th in the year.

From 2023, Alpine has seen a downward trend. Haas have made a good name for themselves. Toyota might be a good takeover for the team. They would be hoping to continue the legacy of the team albeit under a different name. The fans claimed it was not good for the circuit to lose a team like Alpine.
