The US Presidential election results are underway as Donald Trump and Kamala Harris battle hard for the presidential term. The people of the US are casting their votes to choose between Democrat Kamala or Republican Trump. But this US presidential election will have a significant amount of impact on Formula 1 and other Motorsport happening in the USA or across the globe. Motorsport is one of the most important entertainment activities in the USA as people are very fond of racing and stunts.
F1 became a Political Battlefield.

Formula 1 became a battleground for Kamala Harris and Donald Trump to influence people to support them during their presidential campaign. In a Podcast interview, Kamala said she is a huge fan of Former Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton. She also added that their family would sit together and watch Formula 1 racing. Donald Trump went one step further by watching the Miami Grand Prix live and went straight into the McLaren team garage. He spoke with the McLaren Boss Zak Brown race winner Lando Norris. So how did Formula 1 gain much attention in the USA?

Interesting how F1 is still nowhere in terms of popularity in the USA, but suddenly Donald Trump and Kamala Harris are the biggest F1 fans. pic.twitter.com/p3bwMeb9F3

The main reason for this kind of wide attraction among the US people for Formula 1 is because of the Netflix blockbuster hit series ‘Drive to Survive’, which shows the insights of Formula 1 teams and drivers during each race. After that, more and more new fans from the US emerged for Formula 1 and each year the US Grand Prix fan count is increasing. The two presidential candidates wanted to seize this opportunity and that's why they used F1 as their political battlefield.
If Donald Trump wins?
🚨🗣️ "I am here for Zak Brown, and I've been a massive McLaren fan ever since they fired Sergio Perez in 2013, really embracing the values a true American team should represent."

Victory for Donald Trump could bring back the old policies with increased tariffs for imported goods which result in increased prices of F1 car body components. President Joe Biden reduced all the taxes that were previously implemented by Trump Four years ago. The biggest impact will be the tariffs on F1 teams importing any parts or components. so, the presidential candidates should consider them before any decisions.

It will also directly increase the race ticket prices and taxes for Formula 1 races. Both organisers and fans will suffer because of that. But as a Formula 1 fan himself Trump could consider leaving some exceptions before implementing any policies for Motorsport. We predict Trump won't get much involved with Motorsport Tariffs as it will straight away bring anger among fans who are also the voters. Fans are very passionate about racing and fuelling their anger by increasing prices will not make things good for Trump.
