WWE SmackDown: Major Wrestler gets injured, puts his WrestleMania 41 match in jeopardy (Source: X)
A major Superstar suffered an injury on WWE SmackDown before his match at WrestleMania 41. On the blue brand, the veteran injured his knee and was carried out of the arena by the security guards and other officials. The wrestler in the discussion is none other than Rey Mysterio, who is set to have a match with El Grande Americano at WrestleMania.
Earlier on Friday Night SmackDown, Rey Fenix, Creed Brothers, Dragon Lee, and Chad Gable were a part of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Fenix eliminated Gable from the match, who was in turn eliminated by El Grande Americano. Backstage on the blue brand, the Alpha Academy members had a faceoff with the Luchadores.

It led to a 6-man tag team match later in the night between the Alpha Academy members and the trio of Fenix, Lee, and Mysterio. Their match took place before the segment between Cody Rhodes and John Cena in the Main Event of the night. It was a good match, which acted as a teaser of sorts before Mysterio's match at WrestleMania 41.
Is Rey Mysterio doubtful for WrestleMania 41?
In one of the sequences during the match, the former world champion injured his knee and seemed to be in severe pain. Lee and Fenix continued the match and ensured they got the job done despite Mysterio's injury. Fenix claimed a win via pinfall for his team.

After the match ended, Fenix and Lee went up to Mysterio to see his situation. The star wrestler could not stand on his legs and sought attention. The security guards and other officials helped Rey get back to the arena. They carried him off the ring in the video, which has gone viral.
Fans were worried about Mysterio's fitness ahead of his match against El Grande at Mania. Many felt the Luchador didn't have to have a match the night before his WrestleMania bout. There is no update yet on how severe his injury is. Fans hoped it to be mild and wished to see the match between El Grande and Mysterio at Mania.
