Carmelo Hayes emerged victorious in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on WWE SmackDown in 2025. The star wrestler eliminated Andrade, with whom he had a series of 7 matches in 2024. A major highlight of the match was Rey Fenix eliminating Chad Gable from the competition, leading to El Grande Americano eliminating him from the match.
The competition featured some of the top stars of the company from the major WWE rosters of Raw and Friday Night SmackDown. Tyler Bate, Shinsuke Nakamura, Santos Escobar, Rey Fenix, The Miz, Kit Wilson, Joaquin Wilde, Humberto, Berto, Grayson Waller, Elton Prince, Cruz Del Toro, Angel Garza, and Andrade from SmackDown were a part of the match.

Rey Fenix showed his athletic moves and threatened to eliminate both Andrade and Hayes. Initially, he thought to have had eliminated the duo and celebrated, before realizing that he could not get the job done. Hayes and Andrade fought their way back in the match. However, Fenix had incredible momentum and rode on it for a few seconds.
Just when he was about to eliminate the duo, El Grande Americano showed up out of nowhere and eliminated Fenix. It happened a few minutes after Fenix eliminated Chad Gable from the match. Andrade and Carmelo, who had a great feud in 2024, were the final 2 in the match.
The duo pulled off their gymnastic moves and entertained the fans. It brought back the memories of their 2024 feud. In the end, Hayes eliminated Andrade and became the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal 2025 winner. Melo posed with the trophy as his partner, The Miz, congratulated him for his major win.
