Seth Rollins sat in CM Punk's style in the ring and cut a pipebomb on WWE SmackDown ahead of the triple-threat match at WrestleMania 41. The Visionary spoke about how their triple-threat feud came into existence, name-dropped Dean Ambrose, targeted Punk for returning to WWE at its high period, and took a dig at Roman and Paul Heyman.
As the fans chanted Punk's name, Seth spoke about why the star wrestler returned to WWE. "When CM Punk came back to the ring, it wasn’t a WWE ring. So did he come back because you were chanting his name? Or did he come back because somebody wrote him a big, fat cheque?" asked Rollins to the fans.

The Revolutionary claimed Punk only cared about money and never worried about the fans. He then shifted his focus to his story with Roman and the Shield. Seth recalled that Heyman brought him, Roman, and Dean Ambrose as Punk's shield. He felt all credit for helping Punk was given to the OTC, while he got none.

"The story began when Paul Heyman brought me, Roman Reigns, and Dean Ambrose as CM Punk's SHIELD," added Rollins. He then spoke about how Roman was seen as the next John Cena, the new Cash cow of the company, while he wasn't appreciated enough. Seth referred to his sacrifices, including a major one at WrestleMania XL.

Rollins added that he ensured Roman lost in Philadelphia despite knowing his stepdad was dying of cancer. "In the main event of WrestleMania [last year] when my knee was hanging on by a thread, my stepdad was at home dying of cancer, but I made sure I was there at the very end to be a Shield, to make sure Roman Reigns lost," Rollins added.
The star wrestler went back to how the story between him, Roman, Punk, and Heyman started 12 years ago with The Shield. He felt the best way to end it would be to claim a win at WrestleMania 41.
