Trick Williams is likely to turn heel at NXT 'No Mercy' against Joe Hendry. The star wrestler will be the special guest referee for the match between Hendry and Page. During the match, there are possibilities of him costing the TNA star the match ensuring Page retains his title. There are a couple of reasons behind Trick potentially turning heel.

As a wrestler, Trick Williams is not that exciting. While he has all the aura in the world, great mic skills, and a great character, his in-ring skills especially the finisher have not been great. To compensate for this, a better look for Williams could get him closer to the fans. There could not be a better option than to turn him against someone like Joe Hendry.

At NXT Heatwave, Ethan ended the title reign of Trick who beat Ilja Dragunov to be the world champion. The star wrestler could not believe that he lost the title to Page. For a few days, he was angry with himself and went crazy. Hence, he would not like the idea of his friend getting a chance to win the title. Trick could take advantage of being the special guest referee.

Joe Hendry's concert for Ethan Page

In the latest episode on NXT, Ava announced that Trick would be the special guest referee for their match. Page brought it upon himself as he misbehaved with the referees last week. Backstage on the yellow brand, Hendry even promised Williams a shot at the world title if he was to beat Ethan Page to win the title. But even that might not suffice with Trick.

The segment between Williams and Joe was great. Hendry performed a concert against Page which was loved by the fans. There were chants of "Ethan sucks, Believe in Joe, Ethan put on some clothes." Page was pis*ed at the segment and could not stand the fact that the crowd sang it in front of him. He would be hoping to defend the title at NXT 'No Mercy'.
