The main event of tonight's AEW Dynamite was the highly anticipated Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet match, which included several AEW, New Japan, and CMLL talents competing for a crack at the AEW Championship. The match lived up to its hype, with unexpected names in the mix such as Lio Rush and Hechicero.

Will Ospreay made an appearance, as did Orange Cassidy, who was still injured from the prior attack. The two would clash in the match's thrilling climax, with Ospreay evading a pin and sealing the victory by pinning Cassidy. Ospreay will now challenge Swerve Strickland for the AEW Championship at Forbidden Door.

Jay White and PAC were the first to enter the ring, and PAC was the aggressor right away, pinning White to the mat with his jacket before sending the Bang Bang Gang leader to the floor. PAC pushed White into a barrier and then smashed him into another, and he continued to connect with huge offence, throwing White back to the floor with a flip over the ropes.

White eventually rose to his feet and started attacking, and Mistico entered the action. Mistico knocked both White and PAC to the floor, then sprang off the top turnbuckle to knock them down again. White attempted to slow his momentum by removing his mask but was unable.

White then rushed outside and pushed PAC into the barricade before returning to Mistico, but PAC shoved White outside the ring to the floor to prevent a cover attempt. Mistico struck White with kicks to the head and attempted a pin, but White kicked out. PAC attempted to punish Jay on the outside by stomping on him several times until the fourth and last participant of the match was revealed to be Will Ospreay.

Ospreay slammed Mistico, and then he confronted Jay White. Ospreay then sent White reeling, almost leading to a roll-up win for PAC. Mistico then collided with PAC and Ospreay, prompting the next guy in the contest, Shota Umino, to enter the ring. Umino went on a tear, clearing the ring save for Ospreay, and the two stars clashed with a barrage of offence until White broke things up.

Mistico returned to the fight, but Juice Robinson intervened and assisted White in defeating Cassidy. Once again inside, Ospreay attempted to use the storm breaker, but Cassidy reversed it, nearly trapping him. After his huge smash and victory, Osprey will now play Swerve Strickland at Forbidden Door for the AEW Championship.
