Kevin Owens hinted at him potentially turning against Cody Rhodes in the latest episode of Smackdown. The star wrestler saved it for another day and hugged Cody with a disappointed look on his face. A few weeks ago ahead of the Bash in Berlin, KO mentioned that he turned against his friends in the past for a reason except for Kofi Kingston and apologized for the same.

There were many who expected KO to turn against Cody Rhodes at the WWE Bash. But it did not happen as Owens lived up to his word. But Rhodes might have brought it upon himself to face the wrath of Owens. Roman was the last person Owens would have expected to see backed by Cody.

Even ahead of the WWE Bash, Kevin accepted the title shot only because Rhodes was about to give the chance to Roman. Kevin was fine with his loss and did not feel the necessity to address Cody. But Kevins' trust might have taken a hit with the latest move from Cody.

Why Kevin Owens would attack Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes?

Last week on the blue brand, Cody signed the contract to be the partner of Roman Reigns against the Bloodline at Bad Blood. Earlier this night, Cody and Roman's conversation in Atlanta was played on the big screen. KO was unhappy with what he witnessed.

When asked about his opinion on the same, KO said he wanted to say it in the ring. However, the Bloodline ddi not give him a chance and interrupted with an attack. In his mind, Kevin might have an anger towards Cody for being a teammate of Roman against the Bloodline.

It could lead to Kevin costing Cody and Roman the match at Bad Blood. His heel turn will be justified for two reasons. For a long time, Roman was the reason behind a lot of Kevin's wrongdoings in the past. Cody teaming up with him might just be the final nail in the coffin for KO to attack both former and Roman.
