Tony Khan was recently asked about AEW teaming up with WWE in the near future. The AEW Boss had a quirky response for it which has not gone well with the fans. Tony felt that future might not be the same as the present. He felt it could potentially happen. When asked about the timeline, he felt it could happen after 100 years.

"I can't say ever I mean anything could happen at some point, so it’s hard to say. What’s the timeline? In the next 100 years, quite possibly who knows," said Tony Khan in the interview. The AEW Boss probably meant he never wanted to work with WWE in the next few years, or at least in his lifetime.

The fans were unhappy with Tony's statement as they wanted to see some wrestlers from both companies have dream matches. But they agreed that the collaboration could never took place given the egos from both ends. Many criticized Tony for being stubborn against WWE.

Giovanni Vinci attacks Apollo Crews on Smackdown

On Smackdown, Giovanni Vinci and Apollo Crews had a match with each other. Vinci returned to the blue brand which did not go as well as he panned out. He lost to Apollo in just a few seconds and was stunned. It set a match between the two this week. Something similar happened this week too.

Giovanni aimed to claim his first win since return. After all the hype for his return, Vinci succumbed to pressure and lost to Apollo for the second time in a row. This time around, Vinci went mad and attacked Apollo after losing. The fans booed him for being harsh on his opponent.

Likewise, Chelsea Green cut a promo against Michin. She was near the trash center and wanted to send a message to the Smackdown star. Green wanted to let Michin know that she would put her opponent in the trash can just like she did in the segment. Michael Cole was excited for the match between the two.
