WATCH: Kevin Owens teases attack on Cody Rhodes on Smackdown

Kevin Owens teased an attack on Cody Rhodes in the latest episode of Smackdown. The star wrestler got the steel chair on his hands and seemed eager to hit Cody with it. However, he resorted against the plan and went on to hug Cody to show his support. However, it might have stirred the rumors of him potentially attacking Rhodes in the near future.

Something similar was built on during the lead up to the Bash in Berlin match between the two. However, Kevin did not attack Cody Rhodes and sticked to their friendship. But the latest move from Cody might have triggered KO for real. There could be a motive behind KO's decision.

Everything has to do with Cody's decision to team up with Roman Reigns to fight the Bloodline at Bad Blood. KO is the longest fighter against the violence of the faction. For Cody to team up with Roman despite knowing KO was ready to help him might not have gone well with the latter.

Will Kevin Owens cost Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood?

Backstage on Smackdown, Kevin was asked his opinion on the sequence between Roman and Cody. He was in the arena to speak about it before being interrupted by the new Bloodline. It seemed like KO took a few minutes to get the courage to speak about the segmnt between Roman and Cody.

None know the motive of KO yet. But one could guess why Kevin has the reason to turn against Rhodes. KO was ready to sacrifice himself aaginst the Bloodline like always. But Cody siggned the contract last week on thw blue brand to take on the Bloodline.

Owens might be upset by the fact that Cody chose Roman over him. It could well lead to him interfering in the Bad Blood match and turning against Cody. There is a chance of him actually helped the new Bloodline and turning heel to return favor to Roman and Cody. The world champion might have brough it upon himself through his actions.
