Cody Rhodes refused to team up with Roman Reigns against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood. Things took an unlikely turn when Roman came to Cody's assistance on Smackdown against the Bloodline. It led to Solo having a talk with Nick Aldis for a unique match at Bad Blood. However, Cody was clear about his future and refused to sign the contract.

Roman Reigns returned to the blue brand and helped Cody against the new Bloodline. Cody in turn came to Roman's help who was getting beaten by the Tonga brothers. Solo stopped Jacob Fatu from going after Roman. There seemed to be a plan from the new Head of the Table.

Backstage on Smackdown, Nick Aldis had a bit of a conversation with Cathy Kelley. He claimed that Solo came with an offer to have a match at Bad Blood. His plan was to have Solo and Jacob against Roman and Cody. Nick wanted to have a word with Roman and Cody for the same.

Roman Reigns ready to face Bloodline at Bad Blood

He had a talk with Roman who agreed to the match. Solo and Fatu signed for the match. Cody entered the conversation and refused to sign the contract. He meant when he signaled after his match that he was done with the Bloodline. He said the same to Aldis. 

Cody is done with the Bloodline. He confirmed to Nick that he would not be taking part in the match. Nick went to Roman and had a talk with him. The Smackdown GM confirmed that Reigns was ready to face Solo and Roman at Bad Blood. However, his partner is yet to be decided. 

Later this night, Roman is likely to address the fans for the first time since his return. One might get an idea about his motive to return to the blue brand. There is a chance of Jimmy and Paul Heyman returning to form the reunion of the old Bloodline. But it looks like Cody is down with the Bloodline.
