Will Goldberg cost Gunther title on WWE Raw leading to their feud?

Goldberg could potentially interfere in the match between Gunther and Sami Zayn on WWE Raw. For what happened between the duo at Bad Blood, there are many who claim that the star wrestler could cost Gunther the match setting their feud for the next few weeks. There are reports that claim the potential in-ring return of the star wrestler.

Gunther is set to defend his world title on Raw this week against Sami Zayn. It took a lot of weeks for the former Bloodline member to convince Gunther to accept the challenge. At Bad Blood, Gunther had a segment where he wanted to clarify his statement on Goldberg. Gunther said Goldberg was not his favorite wrestler.

When Bret Hart returned to Raw, the Ring General took a dig at him and claimed that Goldberg was his favorite wrestler. As Goldberg was in attendance at Bad Blood, Gunther wanted to clrify that he was not his favorite. The world champion went wild and regarded Bill to be an 'One Trick Pony'.

He then turned to Goldberg's son and wished Bill was a better father than a wrestler. It irked Goldberg who came out of the stands to address Gunther. The Ring General invited him for a fight before Adam Pearce, Triple H, and the security guards stopped them from having a brawl.

While Gunther invited Goldberg for a '3-minute' match, it could not happen. There is a chance of it happening in the next few months. There was no point in the tease between the two if there was no plan for their feud. The best way to start it would be by intervening on Raw.

Gunther beat Damian Priest to become the world champion for the first time in his career. The star wrestler defended his title against Randy Orton at WWE Bash in Berlin. Since then, Sami has been trying to force Gunther to accept his challenge for the world title. He finally managed a couple of weeks ago on Raw.
