Why Bret Hart hates Bill Goldberg?

Bret Hart returned to WWE Raw for the first time in years. He was confronted by Gunther who claimed Bill Goldberg to be his favorite wrestler over The Hitman. It led to many wondering about the reference behind the wild dig from the Ring General. There was a past incident from WCW Starrcade 1999 which led to the Hitman hating Goldberg to date.

In the PLE, Goldberg kicked Bret in the head. It was not scripted and happened by mistake. The impact was so bad that Hart got concussed. Hart could never recover from it and ended up retiring for good. Over the years, Goldberg apologized to Hart for the unintentional incident. However, Bret Hart has refused to accept the apology from the former world champion.

Hulk Hogan was in the podcast of Logan Paul recently where he was asked about Hart. The star wrestler claimed that Hart was one such guy who was never happy with the individuals. He claimed Bret did not want a reason to hate individuals. He felt Bret hated a lot of wrestlers like Ric Flair, Goldberg, Hulk himself, and Shawn Michaels. It was in the podcast that Hulk mentioned the name of Goldberg.

Bret Hart's return to Raw turned out to be good. The WWE Hall of Famer had a segment with Gunther and Sami Zayn. Many got a chance to meet one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. The former WCW Superstar met Natalya backstage and had a bit of talk with her. But the most talked about segment from the night was the one he had with Gunther.

The Ring General regarded Bret as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. However, he claimed Bill Goldberg to be his personal favourite and placed Hart second on the list. He later had a segment with Sami Zayn. Natalya, Lyra, and Vega gave a tribute to the star wrestler by delivering a triple sharpshooter to the likes of Sonya, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler.
