Did CM Punk vs Drew McIntyre match deserve to headline main event of WWE Bad Blood over Jimmy Uso and The Rock's returns?

Fans have been disappointed by the fact that the return of The Rock and Jimmy Uso's main event the WWE Bad Blood over an all-time classic Hell in a Cell match between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. While many believed that the star power in the main event was too big, they claimed the finale of Punk vs Drew had to be the main event of the night.

A few hours before the beginning of the Bad Blood, the tag team match between Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu against Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes was decided to be the main event of the night. Right from that point, the fans were disappointed with the big decision.

In the history of WWE, the rating of 9.39 is the 21st highest for a match. Given how great the match was, one could make a case for it potentially headlining the main event of the night. However, one could not deny how the crowd went crazy at The Rock's return.

Given the star power involved in the tag team match, given the presence of stars like Cody Rhodes, Solo Sikoa, and Roman Reigns, and given the return of Jimmy Uso and The Rock, the Bloodline segment probably deserved to be the main event of the night. Hence, better planning from the creative team for a different schedule for the massive returns would've been ideal.
