'Whoop that era' begins as Lash legend posts surprise for NXT Champion

The era of Trick Williams officially began as he addressed the crowd for the first time after winning the NXT Championship. Trick won the title which was held by Ilja Dragunov for 100 days. The prestige of the title has always been great and Trick aims to take it to another level. The crowd welcomed their new champion with open arms. 

The NXT Champion came to his theme song and the crowd went mad. There were chants of 'Whoop that Trick' and the fans acknowledged their new champion witch chants of 'You deserve it'. Trick claimed that a lot of people are responsible for his success. He felt that one person deserves a shout out for pushing him to limit and making him the Superstar he is.

Trick thanked Ilja Dragunov, the latest Raw Superstar. The two had feud with each other over the years. While Ilja had the upper hand more often than not, Williams had the last laugh after beating the Mad Dragon for the NXT title in the first week of Spring Breakin. Trick thanked Ilja for his run in NXT and wished luck for his run at Raw. The crowd acknowledged it with chants of 'Dragunov'.

Lash Legend surprises Trick Williams

Just when the party was going to peak, Lash Legend returned to NXT. She congratulated the new champion for his success. The two share a brief history and Trick recalled of it. Later on, they talked thrash and the crowd was involved in it. After that, Lash pointed out at an envelope she brought with her. Williams wondered what was in it. Lash kept it a surprise.

She asked Trick to celebrate the moment while it lasts and claimed that the envelope would change everything for him. Much like Williams, everyone in the arena were surprised about the envelope. It might have the name of the upcoming challenger for the NXT Champion. The promo was good and fun. It ended on an interesting note and one cannot wait to see what future holds for Williams.
