At the WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on Saturday, Ron Killings, also known as R-Truth, entered and made fun of his "childhood hero", John Cena, before facing him in the ring. With Cena's well-known song, the 53-year-old made his big debut.   Along with making the hustle, loyalty, and respect motion, he was sporting the WWE champion's jersey with his face on it.

John Cena, already inside the ring, looked in disbelief.   He responded by mouthing some things to R-Truth. However, only minutes after he and John Cena began the main event, R-Truth reacted perfectly to his insult. As the game started, he used an Attitude Adjustment on R-Truth after slapping him with a low blow behind the referee's back. Truth saw the fight as more than simply a contest for the Undisputed WWE World Title.

Years had gone into creating this moment, which was based on adoration, respect, and now disappointment. Truth throws him into the other corner and strikes him with a pair of shoulder tackles after slamming into the top turnbuckle face-first. R-Truth then runs over Cena with two shoulder tackles of his own and a Blue Thunder Bomb when Cena strikes him with one and then does a Five Knuckle Shuffle.

Truth then tries to pin Cena with a five-knuckle shuffle and an attitude correction, but Cena kicks out.   After that, Truth snatches Cena in an STF, but Cena breaks the hold by crawling to the bottom rope.   After sending Truth flying into the ring post, Cena snatches his Undisputed WWE Championship belt and gives it some thought before deciding not to strike Truth with it.   When the referee removes the Undisputed WWE Championship title, Cena strikes Truth with a low blow before winning with an Attitude Adjustment.
