WATCH: Nick Aldis claims Shawn Michaels would ensure contract signing between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens on SNME

Nick Aldis confirmed that Shawn Michaels would be ensuring the contract signing between Cody RhodesandKevin Owenson Saturday Night's Main Event. On WWE Smackdown, Cody and KO had a brawl with each other which did not go well with the GM Aldis. He claimed to relinquish the title from both Cody and KO before the contract signing.

On WWE Smackdown, Nick wanted Cody and Kevin to sign their contract for the world title match at Royal Rumble. He approached Cody first and wanted him to sign the contract which had the condition of not using any banned move in the match. Rhodes was unsure about Owens signing it and hence asked Aldis to get it signed from him first.

Before Kevin's match against Rey Mysterio, Nick approached him and asked him to sign the contract. Owens said he would not do it unless Cody did. Nick was frustrated but still kept his silence on the issue. After KO beat Rey in their match on the blue brand, he attempted a Piledriver on the WWE Hall of Famer.

Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens to relinquish their world titles?

Rhodes could not help but threw himself into the fight. He not only saved Rey from taking the banned move but also had a brawl with his Royal Rumble opponent. Security guards and referees interfered and stopped the duo from damaging each other.

Despite several warnings from Aldis, Cody chose to have a brawl with Kevin. The Smackdown GM was done with it. Backstage on Smackdown, he spoke to Cody and said he would not get the contract signing between them. Aldis said both Cody and Kevin would relinquish their titles before Royal Rumble.

The Smackdown GM confirmed that their Contract signing would take place in the presence of Shawn Michaels next week in Texas on Saturday Night's Main Event. Fans were excited to hear the news as it will be a homecoming for the Heartbreak Kid. The Showstopper will ensure the contract signing between KO and Cody at SNME.
