Jacob Fatu pinned Jimmy Uso to claim a win for Bloodline 2.0 in the main event of WWE Smackdown. In the tag team match, Jimmy suffered Jacob's wrath as Cody Rhodes was taken out of the equation with Kevin Owens' interference. KO and Rhodes took out each other as they engaged in a brawl in the stands ahead of Royal Rumble.
Jacob, Tama, Jimmy, and Cody went after each other twice in the night. The night started with Cody coming to Jimmy's aid against the Bloodline. Later in the night, Jacob and Tama interfered in the match between LA Knight and Shinsuke Nakamura. It forced Cody and Jimmy to equalize the numbers.

Nick Aldis had no option but to declare the main event of the night to be a tag team match between Cody, Jimmy, Tama, and Jacob. The match was decent. Jimmy became the target of the Bloodline as both Jacob and Tonga took him on. Cody badly wanted a tag from the elder Uso.

By the time Rhodes got a tag, Jimmy was badly injured and seemed tired. However, Rhodes took on Tama and Fatu well. Jimmy recovered for a bit and assisted Cody in handling the duo. The duo delivered Uso splash from either corner of the ring to Tama. It seemed like they had an advantage for a brief period.
Fatu was recovering from the blows and Jimmy wanted to end the match. That was when KO interfered in the match. Rhodes went after him as the duo had a brawl with each other. They went into the stands amidst the fans and exchanged blows and punches.
Jimmy aimed to take on Tonga. Out of nowhere, Jacob entered the scene and attacked Jimmy. He got a tag from Tonga, and delivered a Samoan Drop and followed it up with a Moon Sault to pin Jimmy and claimed a win. KO and Cody took out each other through a table as a teaser for their match at Royal Rumble.
