Cody Rhodes, the undisputed WWE Champion, made an appearance on Friday's episode. Since John Cena betrayed him and assaulted him at the WWE Elimination Chamber, this was his first appearance. After being smacked by Travis Scott at the WWE Elimination Chamber, Rhodes' eye was obviously in terrible shape as he made his way to the ring.

When his daughter asked him what had happened to his face, he said that he had collided with a wall. Cody Rhodes pointed out that this wasn't false because he had seen a wall built by John Cena, Travis Scott, and The Rock.

As Cody brought up The Rock, Travis Scott, and John Cena the three men who brutally beat him—the audience exploded in jeers. Cena was a hero to Rhodes, who reflected on his time spent driving around with him. After that, he promised to tell his daughter the truth one day: a wonderful guy who accomplished great things had given up. He then expressed his views rather clearly, saying, "I'll tell her the truth someday." I'll let her know that John Cena gave up at last. Rhodes continued by saying that he was curious as to why Cena did it.

He claimed that Cena would probably defend himself and feel justified. He did, however, assert that Cena had no excuse. As he reflected on his victory at WWE WrestleMania 40, the champion then turned to the fans' support. He mentioned that Cena joined him in celebrating and informed him that the championship became more significant every day.

Cody Rhodes was aware that fans were eager for answers as WrestleMania approached, 43 days away. In contrast to his father, Dusty Rhodes, who used to be afraid to compete in the city, he admitted that Philadelphia had selected him. and Cody isn't going to back down. Rather than turning away from the challenge, he had one more thing to say to Cena: "Come get some at WrestleMania 41."
